Wait! Mine has a glitch! What do I do?
Many GIF89 formats save a master frame, and then just the changes. These GIFS do not work in Second Life. It requires full frames in every frame.
The fix is in - use Bitstrip
Why use Bitstrip?
Bitstrip is a simple animated GIF-to-BMP filmstrip application. It works with moving gifs in the GIF-89 format. The results must be converted to TGA format, the pink background must be removed, and then they can be uploaded to Second Life. Bitstrip makes full frames for every frame.Download Bitstrip (Zip file,

Installation
To install, unzip and run the exe. Choose the GIF you want to have converted. Select either the horizontal or vertical option and then save it as a BMP. The last open horizontal or vertical image window is used when saving the BMP. I had to move the program to the very top of my screen, the open the image and View it as Hortizontal, then save it.
